The lice disease in dogs is mainly caused by two types of lice: 1. The canine palatal lice of the genus Helioliaceae of the genus Helioliaceae; 2. 1. Causes of lice disease
1. Dog-fed palatal lice mainly absorbs blood, sucking blood 2-3 times a day. Each time lasts for 5-30 minutes. The length of male lice is about 15 mm and the length of female lice is about 2.5 mm. The head is narrower than the chest and is conical. The tentacles are short and usually consist of 5 sections.
2. Lice and wool lice are both incomplete perversions. The development of lice is closely related to temperature, humidity, brightness, and hair density.
2. Clinical symptoms of lice disease
1. When there are a large number of lice and hair lice parasitizing on the dog's body surface, it affects appetite and normal rest due to severe itching, and often shows weight loss, hair loss, skin shavings, etc.
2. If the time is a little longer, the sick dog will feel weak and lose its physical condition.
3. Sometimes small nodules, small overflow bleeding points and even necrotic foci appear on the skin, which in severe cases causes suppurative dermatitis. 
3. Prevention and treatment measures for lice disease
1. Use a fine comb to gently press the dog's skin to comb it and remove the lice. If possible, you should wear gloves and clean the affected area of the dog's bitten body after completion, and wash your hands immediately.
2. Sprinkle vine powder or spray with 0.5-1% dibasin aqueous solution or a medicinal bath: or spray with 0.03% erectinong emulsion. Since lice eggs cannot be killed, another medicine bath should be performed after 1-2 weeks.
3. Strengthen feeding management, clean and disinfect kennels and dog beds frequently, wash the body frequently, check regularly, and those who are found to have lice should be isolated and treated in time.
Note: Many people will use folk therapy to treat it, such as using diesel and sulfur. In fact, the effect of removing ticks is not good. These ingredients will be absorbed by dogs and cause harm to dogs.
