Rooney was born in Liverpool on October 24, 1985. He came from the Everton youth training camp and joined Manchester United in 2004. During his 13 years at Manchester United, he served as team captain and won almost all championships that can be won at the club level, including 5 Premier Leagues, 4 Community Shields, 4 League Cups, 1 FA Cup, 1 Champions League, 1 Europa League and 1 Club World Cup.
While playing for the Red Devils, Rooney played 559 times in all competitions, contributed 253 goals and 146 assists, and was the top scorer in Manchester United's history.
