Portugal international and Liverpool striker Jota was unfortunately killed in a car accident at the age of 28.
Previously, media reported that Jota and his younger brother Andre Silva planned to drive to the port of Cantabria in northern Spain, and then take a ferry to England. Because of the lung surgery, the doctor advised Jota not to take a plane.
Reporter Victor Pinto said: "Jota sometimes chooses road trips. He does have some lung discomfort, but it is not too serious. As we know, there is a ferry connecting southern England and Spain."
