29-year-old Fulham striker Iwobi was interviewed by the Guardian and talked about his hobbies, life and his feelings about being nearly 30 years old.

Ivobi once released the single "Hop" under the stage name 17 Out, talking about why he makes music while playing football, he said: "Looking at other people, especially Ian Wright, he just wants to do whatever he wants. He expresses himself, goes all out in football, and enjoys life. So I also use him as an example and gives all his best in football, but I also like to find fun on and off the court, such as through music, fashion and charity activities. I do a lot of things not just for...I won't say it's to distract myself, but to relax and take a breath."

Ivobi's love for football is beyond doubt. During his time at Everton, he would play with friends even if he couldn't play. Fifteen: "I really enjoy playing football, especially with my friends. I really feel frustrated when I can't play because everyone is eager to play. When I don't have the chance to play, I just want to show myself and improve, and prove that I can start."

Ivobi transferred to Fulham from Everton in September 2023. Last season was his best-performing season in his career, contributing 9 goals and 6 assists in various competitions: "We are very close to qualifying for the European Cup, which is another goal we want to achieve." At the same time, Ivobi also surpassed Mikel to become the Nigerian player with the most games in the Premier League. In mid-December this year, the African Cup will be held in Morocco, and participating in the event may affect his club's match: "It's not a good choice for us, but out of respect for Fulham, I still hope to be able to participate in the African Cup."

Ivobi mentioned in his 2024 song "What's Luv? (What is Love)" that he owns 27 properties. According to players, he has grown investments after entering Arsenal’s first team as a teenager, thanks to Okocha’s advice. Iwobi said: "Okocha introduced my father to the investment plan. Since I signed my first professional contract, almost all investments have been invested in real estate, and these investments are managed by my father. Obviously, my football career is short and I don't want anyone to go bankrupt easily or quickly after retirement. I am grateful for my parents and uncles guiding me to tell me what is best for the future and how to live the current life."

Next May, Iwobi will turn 30. Recalling his experience as a future star in Arsenal youth training, he said he is right I have no regrets about my current development: "I am very lucky and very happy to be in the position today. Of course I would like to thank Arsenal because they have been developing young players. I met Skelly and Envanelli in the offseason. You would never think that they were only 18 years old. They are both very mature and well-behaved. No matter how old you are, I think you should give your all. That's right, I'm still moving forward. I'm going to be 30 next season, so I'm no longer a kid, and I hope I can make a big contribution to the team again next season."
