According to foreign media winwin reports, Egypt coach Hossam Hassan hopes that Malmouche and Salah will play in the warm-up match before the African Cup of Nations, but this is unlikely to happen.

The African Cup will be held in Morocco from December 21 to January 18 next year. The Egyptian team is in Group B with South Africa, Angola and Zimbabwe. The Egyptian team has a clear goal to win the African Cup again after 15 years. As part of preparations for the African Cup of Nations, the Egyptian team will play a warm-up match against Nigeria in Cairo on December 14. Hossam Hassan hopes that all players, including Salah and Malmouche, can participate in the warm-up match.

A source explained that although Hossam Hassan hopes that Salah and Malmouche will be able to participate in the game against Nigeria, he is unlikely to call them into the Egyptian team training camp before the game. Salah will represent Liverpool in the league against Brighton on December 13, while Malmouche will represent Manchester City in the league against Crystal Palace on December 14.

The Egyptian team has the right to require players to return to the national team 14 days before the start of the game, that is, December 7. However, Salah and Malmouche are unlikely to feature against Nigeria and are expected to leave their respective clubs after games at Brighton and Crystal Palace.
