British media Talksports reported that although Arsenal intends to in Capier, he is not planning to pay the drug factory defender's termination fee.

It is reported that Arsenal has reached an agreement with Leverkusen defender Inkapier on personal terms. With only a few days left in the transfer window, the Gunners listed the 23-year-old defender as a target for signings. Inkapier is an attractive choice because the Ecuador international can be competent as a centre-back and a guest-star left-back. The current contract termination fee is about £52 million.

However, Arsenal are reluctant to pay such a high fee, and they are also considering signing players on loan first, with a forced buyout clause.
