Modern people lack movement, and many studies have implemented the "one-one-day steps", while some people say that there are too many steps, 6,000 steps. Harvard's latest research points out that just 4,400 steps a day is enough to reduce the risk of premature death.

The British "Solar News" reported on the 29th that the Harvard University Research Group analyzed the data of 16,741 elderly women wearing tracking equipment for one week. The health of these women was monitored for an average of more than 4 years, with 504 deaths therebetween.

According to Harvard University's research, only 4,400 steps a day are enough to reduce the risk of premature death. Compared with walking 2700 steps a day, walking 4400 steps a day can reduce the chance of premature death by 41%. Walking 8400 steps a day can reduce the chance of premature death by 58%, but this data is already stable at 7500 steps.

Researchers pointed out that too high goals will prevent some people from continuing to move because they think 10,000 steps a day is difficult. If you don’t have much time to move, it will be enough to only 4,400 steps a day. Professor Li, one of the team members, said: "We hope that these discoveries can encourage those who think that walking 10,000 steps a day is impossible to achieve more."
