After Taiwan's epidemic warning has been lowered from the second level, people who love outdoor sports can finally step out of their homes to go outdoor activities to move their muscles, but they still need to wear masks when going out. The Ministry of Health and Welfare Department of Health proposed five key points to "wearing masks outdoor sports". In addition to paying attention to personal symptoms, remember to avoid the sunshine time when going out from 10 am to 4 pm.

Director of the National Health Administration, Wu Zhaojun, said that the new coronavirus is a disease that can be transmitted by human contact, flying foam, environment and other media. Wearing a mask can reduce the risk of spreading the virus, flying foam and possible gas solvents, but it also reminds the public to pay attention to five key points when wearing masks outdoors.

1. Choose air-permeable masks: In summer, when exercising in a high temperature and damp environment, the water vapor and sweat on the face will shorten the protection time of the mask and the face, and the fit between the mask and the face will be poor. It is recommended to choose a mask made of air-permeable materials and bring one more mask before leaving. If the mask is moistened, it is necessary to change it appropriately.

2. Adjust the strength of the movement: It is recommended to start with a low-strength activity or be at a lower strength than usual, and then gradually increase the type, strength and number of activities based on the individual's energy status to avoid exceeding the burden on the individual. 3. Pay attention to personal symptoms: If you experience dizziness, headache and shortness of breath, you should stop exercising. If the symptoms continue and do not disappear, you should rest and take off your mask in a suitable place.

4. Evaluate physical condition: If there is a lung-related disease, please consult the professional doctor's exercise suggestions in advance. 5. Pay attention to avoid heat damage: choose air-wicking clothes when exercising, avoid running from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., and refill 2 to 4 cups of water (1 cup 240 a.m.) every hour.

Ye Hong, chairman of the Taiwan Senior Critical Care Association, said that people of all ages must wear masks and exercise within their abilities. If they experience asthma, they must find a suitable place to remove the mask and keep breathing smoothly. When older people go out to exercise during the epidemic, they should focus on stretching muscles and bones and aerobics. It is best to walk with them. If the body suddenly becomes unsuitable, they can get help immediately.
