World Semiconductor Trade Statistics Group (WSTS) estimates that the global semiconductor production value will reach USD 728 billion in 2025, an annual increase of 15.4%, and is expected to grow by another 9.9% in 2026, further reaching USD 80 billion. Logical and memory products are the main growth dynamics in 2025.

WSTS statistics show that the global semiconductor production value increased quarter by quarter in the first half of 2025, with production value reaching US$346 billion in the first half of the year, up 18.9% from the same period last year. Among them, the logical component growth is 37% and the memory growth is 20%, which is the main dynamic energy.

WSTS pointed out that benefiting from the demand for basic equipment in data centers and the initial artificial intelligence edge applications, sensor products also have good performance, with a growth of 16%, a temperature growth of 4% respectively compared with components and micro component products, a 4% reduction in separate components and 0.5% reduction in optical electronic components.

WSTS expects that logical products and memory are the main growth dynamics of the semiconductor production value in 2025, which will grow by 29% and 17% respectively. Including the Americas, Asia Pacific and Europe, they will all grow, while Japan will decline slightly.
