Vet doctors have warned that as the number of stray dogs increases overseas, "Trojan" dogs will pose a risk of fatal diseases in the United States.

The American Veterinary Medical Association calls on political parties to include mandatory health checks at national borders in their presidential election slogans to protect our puppies at bay.
BVA chief editor Daniela Dos Santos said: "Advertisements for organizations that provide rehousing services for European puppies usually only require a few clicks of the mouse. But in fact, these Trojan dogs often have unclear health histories. If they cause new diseases, they may be harmful to local pets and even people."
